Trained at Citibank and Citicorp Equity Investments, he held roles in M&A, investment banking, global finance, and financial control. During Argentina’s privatization process, Javier played a key role in acquiring major energy, telecommunications, and media companies, including TGS, Telefónica de Argentina, and Grupo Telefe. He has participated in over 100 acquisition, sale, and restructuring transactions and has served as a consultant and board advisor for leading Argentinian media groups. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires.

With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, he has held senior roles in financial markets, including Senior Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer, and CEO at Santander Asset Management, overseeing up to USD 3 billion in assets. He has also served as Chairman of the Argentina Mutual Funds Association and Director at the Argentine Securities Exchange Commission. Ricardo has advised on foreign investments in key sectors of Argentina's economy and is an expert in strategic planning, M&A, international business, and financial markets. A former economics and finance lecturer at the University of Buenos Aires and Universidad Católica Argentina, he holds a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master’s in Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University.
